It is well aware that Vikram Prabhu, son of veteran actor Prabhu and grandson of late legend Sivaji Ganesan is debuting into Tamil films with Prabhu Solomon's upcoming movie "Kumki". Lakshmi Menon is pairing opposite Vikram Prabhu in Kumki. The movie is slated for release on Dec 14th on a grand scale.
Now the latest news is that Kumki has got a clean chit from the Regional Censor Board. The film has passed the test with 'U' certificate and also has won positive feedback from the board officials.
The censors were said to have been impressed with the film. The story revolves around a mahout played by Vikram Prabhu and his trained elephant, which are used to guide wild elephants back to the forest to minimize the destruction of properties and fields of nearby village.
Earlier, Kumki had been cleared with NOC from the Animal Welfare Board of India. Animals used in the film including Elephant have been treated well. Hence, they did not have any objection for the clearance of the forthcoming Tamil flick.
Director Lingusamy has produced Kumki on Thirupathi Brothers banner that has music notes composed by D. Imman.
