'Maatran' is a remake of Hollywood film 'Stuck on You'

The movie "Maatran" which is garnering a lot of attention is now facing a sad situation where the industry insiders say that 'Maatran' is copied from the Hollywood movie “Stuck on You”, 2003.

Nowadays, Tamil Industry directors are not using their own ideas to direct the film, just giving rest to their mind by coping from others. Although there are directors who were creating many innovative movies nowadays, but still on the other hand some directors have the habit of copying other films.

Recent news was that even “Billa 2” was copied from “Scarface” Hollywood movie, now Maatran is also added to that list. In “Maatran” Surya is seen as conjoined twins, this has been copied from “Stuck on you”.

Maatraan directed by KV Anand is a high-voltage action film starring Surya and Kajal Aggarwal. Sachin Khedekar, Ravi Prakash, Thara and Vivek are in the cast. The movie is expected to release in September and the audio of the film will be reportedly releasing on July 23 for Surya's birthday.
