Shahrukh to join hands with Anurag Kashyap

Film Industry is the place where relationships between people change more frequently.   Best buddies can turn into in rivals and enemies who once were not ready to stand in front each other could become great best friends. It seems that something like this is happening between Anurag Kashyap and Shahrukh Khan.

The latest buzz doing rounds in B-town is that a new friendship between filmmaker Anurag Kashyap and Shah Rukh Khan is brewing these days. The maverick filmmaker, who is known for his dislike for certain stereotypical norms in the industry, seems to be warming up to all the right names in the film fraternity now.

After patching up with Arbaaz Khan at a party few weeks back, Anurag is now seen spending some quality time with superstar Shah Rukh Khan.

Speaking to a daily, a source said, "Last week at a party for one of the upcoming awards SRK, Anurag, Kalki, Gulshan Deviah and Karan Johar were seen hanging out together.

"After the party, the whole gang was spotted at SRK`s Bandra bungalow. So it looks like there was some serious discussion going on,” added the source. In fact they left the venue together. Everyone was surprised because it was a whole new gang bonding with each other."

Interestingly not too long ago, stories about trouble brewing between Anurag and SRK were doing the rounds, because the filmmaker apparently thought the actor wasn’t the right choice for his film Bombay Velvet. Kashyap soon brushed off the rumours saying Aamir was always the first choice for the role.

However, a few days back at a press conference, Anurag said, “I would love to work with Shahrukh and Hrithik. They are extremely talented.” Adds the source, “After the party, the whole gang was spotted at SRK’s Bandra bungalow. So it looks like there was some serious discussion going on.”

Post Udaan, Karan Johar and Kashyap were also set to team up for Vikramaditya Motwane’s next. Though that did not materialise, may be there’s something bigger in store. Watch this space for more.

Anurag’s wife, Kalki Koechlin was also seen bonding with SRK camp at an awards ceremony. Infact, post the release of ‘Udaan’, Karan Johar and Kashyap were also set to team up for Vikramaditya Motwane`s next. But that did not materialize. And with SRK now in the picture, who knows, some thing big might come up considering all of the above mentioned people are best in the business of movie making.
