Sonakshi and Salman worked out together

If Sonakshi Sinha sounds casual about her on-screen pairing with Salman Khan, there is a reason behind that. Since she shares a friendly relationship with him for years (Khans and Sinhas have been family friends), there has been good camaraderie that the duo has shared off the sets for quite some time now.

"Oh yes, definitely", Sonakshi nods in agreement here; "In fact we used to work out together. It was quite homely with him as we also had our coffee sessions. He also taught me how to paint. I made two paintings and because he was the teacher here, my style bears a lot of similarity to his. I made some faces and figures. Though I am a lazy painter and haven't done much since the shoot of DABANGG got over, I definitely want to do more of it."

While painting came by chance, one wonders whether acting was always her first choice? After all acting is a profession that her sibling Luv Sinha picked up much before her as he made a debut earlier this year in SADIYAAN.

"Honestly speaking, I wasn't very interested in acting", says Sonakshi, "It was overweight and was studying as a fashion designer. It was only later when I thought of trying my hand in acting. Though there were movies which were coming my way, it was imperative that I start with Salman since Khan family and we have been associated for a very long time. There is a comfort level shared between us and hence a mutual decision was taken by both the families. I guess this is just a perfect launch."
