Saroj Khan's Daughter passes away

Saroj Khan just suffered one of the biggest loses of her life on Saturday. At the Lilavati Hospital the legendary choreographer’s daughter passed away due to liver failure, septicaemia and multi-organ failure. Outliving one’s children is one of the biggest tragedies in life and 62year old had to bid adieu to her 42year old daughter.

On a regular basis Cuckoo used to be admitted at the ICU of the Lilavati Hospital as she often had liver problems and was suffering from a chronic ailment. Though there was plans for liver transplant as advised by the doctors but since Cuckoo’s condition just got worsened and there was no hope hence the transplant didn’t take place. Saroj Khan’s daughter was treated by Dr Samad Ansari and Dr. Jaleel Parker at the Mumbai’s renowned hospital.

Cuckoo Khan’s real name was Hina Khan and she was the child of Saroj and her first husband B. Sohanlal. Hina is the second child that Saroj had with Sohanlal, their first born is Hamid Khan better known as Raju Khan, who is into the same profession that is choreography.  We have our sincere condolences for Saroj Khan and her family during these trying times.

Saroj Khan and won the National Film Award three times for Best Choreography and eight times the Filmfare Awards and is still working. She is one of the most respected choreographers of Indian and also has a dance academy.
